This Guide explains the very first steps of how to use your Toyota Touch&Go Toolbox: how to connect your USB storage to your PC and how to log in with your my-toyota.eu username and password.

After the Toyota Touch&Go Toolbox has been started, you will see the main page. The toolbar on the top of the page informs you that no device is connected and that you are not logged in:



The following initial steps need to be performed:

1. Connect your USB storage that contains your fingerprint to your PC. If you do not know how to get a fingerprint, please refer to section
2. Make sure your PC is connected to the Internet.
3. Click the 'Not logged in' icon to log in with your my.toyota.eu username and password. If you do not have a username and password yet, please visit my.toyota.eu to register an account.

These steps are explained in more detail below:

1. Connect your USB storage to your PC.

Plug in the USB storage that contains your fingerprint to one of your PC's USB ports.

When your USB storage is successfully connected and the Toyota Touch&Go Toolbox has identified the fingerprint, the device name will appear at the top of the Toolbox window.

2. Make sure your PC is connected to the Internet.

An Internet connection is required for the Toyota Touch&Go Toolbox to verify if free or paid updates are available for download for your Toyota Touch&Go.

3. Log in with your username and password.

The Toyota Touch&Go Toolbox and the Toyota Touch&Go Download Services work in an integrated way. When you buy a map update, application or extra content on the Toyota Touch&Go Download Services, and then you log in to the Toyota Touch&Go Toolbox, it will immediately recognize that you have the right to download and install the content. If you are entitled to have a free update, this will be shown in your Toyota Touch&Go Toolbox after you have logged in.

To log in, click the 'Not logged in' icon in the toolbar at the top of the page.

When you have successfully logged in, your name will be shown on the top of all Toyota Touch&Go Toolbox screens.
